1."Some students were even punish for using their languages in classes."This quote makes a connection with my cousin because when he was little he was told by an instructor that Spanish was a not allow in her classroom, which lead for him to not develop his Spanish and never wanted to learn it anymore.

2."Initially I was uncomfortable using or really having Spanish spoken a lot in my classroom because I felt like I was the teacher and I needed what was happening and what was going on all the time." This quote is relevant because it made have answer my question on why the instructor my cousin had was against him speaking Spanish in class.

3."Talk to parents and students about their language goals." I believe that this quote is very important because parent's thoughts and opinions are super important in the student success. And also asking students about their thoughts will help the instructor find the best method as possible for them to learn. 

Main point: Learning about bilingual students and how another language can help them improve their learning.
